The Bayelsa State Police Command has propelled a manhunt for suspected cultists who killed four casualties and set a house on fire in the state on Wednesday, August 5.
An announcement from the representative of the state police order, SP Asinim Butswat said the presumed cultists at about 11pm on Wednesday, raged the ‘Lion of Judah Church’ in Azikoro town, Yenagoa Local Government Area, Bayelsa State and shot dead four church individuals.
Butswat gave the names of the perished as Alfred Marcus ‘m’ 30 years, Imomotimi family name obscure 25 years Gabriel Ejimofor ‘m’ 45 years and Uchechukwu Ejimofor ‘f’ 38 years. He included that the presumed cultists set on fire a close by building, harmed a vehicle and the congregation properties.
”Agents of activity Puff Adder had before followed the forts of the cultists in the hedge, ousted them and consumed their camp. It is accepted this is a response assault by the presumed cultists. Then two suspects have been captured and are helping out the Police in their examination.” the announcement read to some degree
Butswat included that the state Commissioner of Police CP Mike Okoli fsi, has visited the scene, consoled individuals from the network of sufficient police assurance and requested for full Investigation to disentangle the thought process in this devious assault.
