Minister Peter Alatake, the General Overseer of the Holy Ghost Mission Church in Owo, Ondo state, was today April 22 summoned under the watchful eye of an Owo Magistrate court for purportedly assaulting a 16-year-old epileptic optional school understudy.
As per reports, the casualty was taken to Holy Ghost Mission Church for redemption however supposedly wound up been assaulted by the pastor between April 15 to 20, leaving her with genuine wounds in her vagina and rear-end. A clinical test led at Medical Center, Owo affirmed the wounds she continued and the pastor was captured.
Alatake was summoned under the watchful eye of the court on Wednesday morning, April 22, on a one tally charge of unlawfully having fornication with of a minor, an offense culpable under segment 357 of the criminal laws of Ondo state. He argued not liable after the charge was perused to him.
The Ondo state Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Adekola Olawoye who was in court, reported the choice of the state to arraign the case.
Direction to the suspect, Aderemi Adetula, spoke to the court to allow him bail taking into account the continuous decongestion of detainment facilities and vowed to give solid sureties to guarantee his customer is accessible for equity.
The managing Magistrate, Olubumi Dosumu, allowed bail in the total of N500,000 and two sureties in like entirety.
