A tumultuous scene is right now being seen at Agodi people group of Ibadan, Oyo state capital after a conflict between okada riders and authorities of the Agodi Correctional Facility.
It was affirmed that the conflict followed after the passing of an Okada man which was connected to a jail official.
Olugbenga Fadeyi, representative of Oyo state police order affirmed the occurrence and furthermore unveiled that police officers have been conveyed to abridge the viciousness.
“The truth is that there was a clash between officers of the correctional service and bike men stationed at agodi gate.
“One okada riders sustained injury and he was rushed to the University College Hospital. Our men moved in swift response to be able to curtail the menace of criminal elements. Are men are still there to ensure that okada riders do not take law into their hands.”
