A Nigerian talented female basketball player has defile all odds by clinching to embrace sportsmanship despite the overwhelming competition of various talented players and the struggle of survival in balancing her education, passion and social life.

Patience trying to dunk

This is the story of Abubakar Patience Bukola who started her basketball career at the age of ten after being geared by her landlord’s daughter at a tender age.

Speaking exclusive to Leak Secret, Patience recalls her struggle for survival and heydays in her quest for being a professional basketballer.
According to her:

My best moment in the court was when I met one of the best player in Nigeria and trained with her 

Patience trying to win the ball from her opponent 

Patience holding the ball for the camera 

I want to help kids in Nigeria using basketball as a tool to reach out to them and also motivate them 

Those were the refreshing words of Patience as she gave a wild expression.

Patience who is a student of Olabisi Onabanjo University Consult hopes to balance her career and maintain a good grade in academic and hope for a better future in basketball.
