The management of Olabisi Onabanjo University Consult, Abeokuta study centre led by the Director of studies, Dr. Oluwatosin Adebayo and the registrar, Mrs Oluwafunmilola Oluwatosin has ignite hope in the students’ heart after fulfilling promises made months back and implementing new development for the betterment of the students after meeting with all 200 level students of the institution.
The management in her good deeds has considered the background of many students thereby providing scholarship to thousands of students who find it hard to obtain admission through the popular UTME imposed by the federal government.
Speaking in clarity of their forthcoming plans, the director of studies, Dr Oluwatosin Adebayo made it clear that starting from 200L, there will be no more conversion examination to obtain BS.c thus curbing the high cost of expenses student pay to obtain BS.c from other affiliate schools in partnership with them.
The D.O.S also promised to upgrade the school facilities by adding more laboratory equipments for the Basic Medical students and improving the school environment and lecture rooms by adding Air Conditioner and free internet WI-FI.
Speaking further, the Director of studies promised students whose G.P is above 5.0 a 100% scholarship, which means the student is exempted from tuition fee.
The registrar, Mrs Oluwafunmilola Oluwatosin advise student with lower G.P to work hard this semester as the management will not tolerate any G.P below 2.5.
The Registrar also added that for those with carry over course, the management will organise a summer exam in order to help them clear their failed course as those with carry over course would not be allowed to scale through to 300L.
In a bid to shape-up the future of her students, the management promise not to include any irrelevant course to her curriculum thus scrapping the Public Health Nursing course out and including Nursing.
This new development has stir unspeakable joy amongst the students as they cheered the management for their hardwork and support in ensuring they get quality education and conducive learning environment for a very low cost.
