Liverpool and Guinean midfielder, Naby Keita is grieving the passing of his cousin who lamentably kicked the bucket in a transport crash in Guinea.
Almamy Keita, was among the nine players from second division side Etoile de Guinee who were killed in the episode on Thursday, March 5. Nineteen others were apparently harmed in the accident with 17 of them viewed as in a genuine condition.
As indicated by Local reports, the mishap occurred outside the city of Mamou, found 250 kilometers from capital Conakry. The group were en route to play their first class round of the period in Kankan.
The reason for the accident hasn’t been uncovered at this point.
The Ligue Guineenne de Football Professionnel affirmed the nine unfortunate casualties as; Almamy Keita, Mohamed Lamine Toure, Kabinet Camara, Mohamed Damaro Camara, Ousmane Sylla, Ibrahima Sylla, Mohamed Lamine Camara, Serdouba Ginola Bangoura and Facinet Mara.
Taking to Instagram to grieve his cousin, Keita, 25, who is relied upon to play for Liverpool against Bournemouth on Saturday composed: ‘I am stunned, dismal and crushed at this awful news.
‘I send my true sympathies to all groups of the people in question, just as the entire brandishing group of Guinea. Rest in immaculate harmony folks.’
