Agents of the Lagos State Police Command joined to Ejigbo Division have captured 4 youngsters for supposedly gangraping a 15-year-old young lady in Ejigbo on February 16.
The mother of the person in question, Tawa Abbey, of No 200, Mafo Bus Stop, Idimu Road, Ejigbo, detailed the episode to the police that her little girl (name retained) went to purchase food at Lafenwa Street,Ejigbo when a gathering of young men assaulted her with perilous weapon, taken steps to slaughter her and strongly had fornication with of her in a room at No 33,Alhaji Obe Street Ejigbo.
Upon the report, the Divisional Police Officer, Ejigbo Division, assembled his men to the scene where the four young men were captured. The suspects were recognized as Jimoh Kamoru, 16, Lukman Basita, 16, Aleshinloye Sunday, 16 and Ifeoluwa Alabi, 16. A few things were recuperated from them including cutlasses and substances suspected to be Indian hemp.
Affirming the occurrence, the representative of the state police order, CSP Ademuyiwa Adejobi, said the state Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, CP Hakeem Odumosu, has requested the Divisional Police Officer to pursue the escaping individuals from the gathering and heighten endeavors in getting Ejigbo zone freed of awful young men who are enamored with assaulting and assaulting guiltless women and making torments them.
