The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has completed plans to send some of its personnel to Oyo State to protect farmers and herders.

The security agency on Tuesday, February 2, held a mock exercise where its personnel displayed their military tactics and skills which they hope to use in fighting criminal elements when they get to Igangan. The crisis between the herdsmen and the farmers took another dimension last week when a Yoruba activist, Sunday Igboho, gave the Fulani community in the area a quit notice.
