A group of Nigerians who called themselves #RevolutionNow protesters held a protest along the highway leading to Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in the federal capital territory (FCT) Abuja this morning June 21.
Omoyele Sowore, the publisher of Sahara reporters, who is one of the conveners of RevolutionNow, shared photos and videos of the protesters on his Facebook page today. The protesters were filmed shouting “Buhari must go” as they set the highway on fire, preventing the free flow of traffic.
In the post accompanying the video, Sowore wrote: “#BuhariMustGo protest[ers] on the highway to the airport in Abuja this morning! No Rest for the wicked! #RevolutionNow.”
