A Brazilian judge has requested Netflix to quit demonstrating the questionable motion picture portraying Jesus as gay.
The decision by Rio de Janeiro judge Benedicto Abicair on Wednesday, January 8, requested Netflix to evacuate the Christmas unique that some called disrespectful for portraying Jesus as a gay man and which provoked a fuel bomb assault on the comedians behind the program.
Judge Benedicto Abicair reacted to a request by a Brazilian Catholic association that contended the “respect of a huge number of Catholics” was harmed by the airing of “The First Temptation of Christ.”
The exceptional was delivered by the Rio-based film organization Porta dos Fundos, whose home office was focused in the Christmas Eve assault.
Netflix told The Associated Press it would not remark on the decision.
Porta dos Fundos additionally declined to remark on the judge’s choice, which negated a prior choice dismissing control of the program. The decision is legitimate until another court arranges something else.
