The All Progressives Congress (APC) has responded to the insurgence at US Capitol on Wednesday January 6, set off by President Donald Trump’s refusal to yield in the US official political race.
In an assertion delivered by John Akpanudoedehe, secretary of APC’s overseer and extra-customary show arranging council, the gathering expressed that the most recent spot of occasions in the United States are “condemnable” and further contrasted Buhari with Trump.
As indicated by the APC, President Muhammadu Buhari challenged and lost races multiple times and finished the cycle to the Supreme Court on all records.
The statement read;
“The events of the past 72 hours in the U.S. are, to say the least, condemnable. Over time, elections in the U.S. had been used as a touchstone for elections in other democracies. “President Muhammadu Buhari contested and lost elections a couple of times and followed the process through to the Supreme Court on all accounts. This is an outstanding credential of a true democrat.”
